Job Overview
Are you ready to step up as a Senior Recruitment Consultant, delivering excellence and driving success in the education sector?
At the heart of this role, it’s all about connections—supporting clients and candidates while creating lasting relationships. You'll be part of a team committed to making a real difference in the education sector, helping schools thrive and ensuring classrooms are filled with the best talent.
You will be a point of contact for your schools and will need to be available to support with day to day cover, as well as the long-term requirements. Shifts will be between 7am - 5pm and based in branch but during school holidays you will get to work reduced hours with a well deserved lie-in each day (with no drop in your pay). From our employee feedback, we understand this is the best way to collaborate and service our clients together as a team, but that you get a work life balance!
What we're looking for:
- Previous Recruitment Experience: You don't need to have recruited within Education before, but a strong track record of delivering exceptional recruitment in a service led industry is a must. You'll bring an ambition to grow your desk and take your success to the next level.
- Relationship Builder: Deliver exceptional customer service, build lasting relationships with clients and candidates, and become the trusted advisor they rely on. We love to hear about case studies you can bring to life during an interview.
- Driven and Target-Focused: Thrive in a sales role, motivated to meet and exceed ambitious goals while being accountable for your desk's growth and performance.
- Industry-Savvy Professional: Stay up to date with the education sector, demonstrating knowledge of safeguarding and compliance standards.
- Creative Thinker: You will bring forward new ideas, supporting the team to develop and always be ahead of the competition. We don't want to stand still, and need you to come on our exciting journey with us.
- Team Player: Collaborative team work is what sets us apart. We work together to build our business and to support this we work together in the office 5 days per week.
What you'll do:
- Implement and deliver a strategic desk business plan to achieve year-on-year growth in revenue and performance.
- Build a strong candidate pipeline and engage with clients to meet their needs through exceptional service and proactive solutions.
- Lead by example, stepping in as the go-to person for your team when required, supporting colleagues, and fostering a culture of collaboration and success.
- Visit clients and attend events to build your network and relationships. You will need to be able to drive and have access to a car.
Why Join Us?
- Reward and recognition for your hard work and sales achievements.
- A supportive, impact-focused team where your efforts truly matter.
- The chance to grow your career in a company that values your success as much as you do.
- Tailored career development to suit your skills and aspirations.
Benefits for our employees include:
- Employee Assistant Programme, 247 wellbeing support
- Perks and Discounts App
- Reduced hours in school holidays, we value work life balance
- Eye care scheme
- Cycle to work scheme
- Life Assurance Scheme
- 25 days holidays + bank holidays (increasing after 2 years’ service)
- Extra day off on your birthday, on us!
- Pledge / paid volunteer days
- Training and development opportunities via our Career pathways
